Our Story
GingerCort was founded by two former college golfers, Jennifer Baumann and Cortney Reno, who both share a deep passion for the game and a drive to empower women in the sport. Jen and Cortney met while attending the University of Michigan, where they were teammates on the golf team. Jen went on to earn her law degree at Michigan, while Cortney played professionally.
Now, with successful careers in law (Jen) and corporate events (Cortney), we aim to combine our professional expertise, golf knowledge, and industry connections to create meaningful opportunities for female golfers. Our goal is to not only foster connections but also to grow the game, elevating both athletes and brands along the way.
Through GingerCort, we bring our unique blend of corporate experience, legal expertise, event management, and passion for the sport to reshape the landscape for women in golf. Whether you’re a golfer seeking to build your brand or a company looking to create impactful partnerships, GingerCort is here to help you thrive.
Our Mission
At GingerCort, our mission is to harness the strength of our athletic backgrounds, professional ambition, and the power of connection to build a thriving community for women in golf.
Once competitors, now collaborators. The Players Society brings together current and former competitive women golfers to network, mentor, and grow—on the course, in the office, and everywhere in between.
As we grow our community, we’re expanding our efforts to support brand development and, soon, NIL representation—equipping athletes and entrepreneurs with the tools, partnerships, and visibility they need to succeed in the evolving landscape of women’s golf and sport.
